1.Who we are
The website digitalstar.ro is operated by Digital Star Marketing S.R.L., with its registered office at Strada Maria Rosetti 6, etaj 8, București 030167, tax ID RO26390950, registered with the Trade Register under no. 2.What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. In this policy, “cookies” also covers technologies that work in a similar way: tracking pixels, tags, local browser storage (local storage, session storage) and similar identifiers. The rules below apply to all of them.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by suppliers whose services we use on the website, for example analytics or advertising platforms (third-party cookies).
3.Which categories we use and why
| Category | What it is for | Do we need your consent? |
|---|
| Strictly necessary | The basic functioning of the website: security, loading pages, remembering your cookie choices, making forms work. | No. The website cannot work without them, so they cannot be switched off from the banner. |
|---|
| Preferences | They remember settings such as your chosen language (RO/EN), so you don’t have to choose again on every visit. | Yes |
|---|
| Analytics | They show us, in aggregate, how the website is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, how long they stay. They help us improve the content. | Yes |
|---|
| Marketing | They let us measure our campaigns and show you relevant Digital Star ads on other platforms (for example social networks or advertising networks). This also covers embedded third-party content, such as videos, which may set its own cookies. | Yes |
|---|
Cookies in the Preferences, Analytics and Marketing categories are blocked until you give your consent. If you refuse, the website keeps working normally.
4.The complete, up-to-date list of cookies
The list below is generated automatically by our consent management platform, which scans the website regularly. For each cookie you can see its name, provider, purpose, category and storage period. The list updates automatically when we add or remove a tool, so it always reflects what is actually on the website.

5.How long cookies stay in your browser
Some cookies disappear when you close the browser (session cookies). Others stay for a set period (persistent cookies), shown for each cookie in the list above. We keep your cookie choice for no more than 12 months, then ask you again.
6.How to give or withdraw your consent
- On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, refuse them all or choose by category.
- You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the website. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of use before the withdrawal.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you also block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.
7.Third-party cookies
When you consent to Analytics or Marketing, certain providers (for example Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, Leadfeeder) may collect information through their cookies and may also use it for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies. For the collection and transmission of data through these tools we may be joint controllers with the provider concerned, while the provider alone is responsible for any further processing. The name of each provider and a link to its policy appear in the list in section 4.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Details about transfers and the safeguards applied are in the Privacy policy.
8.Legal basis
We use strictly necessary cookies under Art. 4(6) of Law no. 506/2004 and our legitimate interest in having a secure, working website. For all other categories, the basis is your consent, under Art. 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004 and Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
9.Changes
When we add new tools that fall within the categories above, the list in section 4 updates automatically. If we introduce a new category or a new purpose, we update this policy, change the date above and ask for your consent again where applicable.
